GNSS communicates through a radio wave. Radio waves are scattered underwater and do not reach the deep sea. So, we used a sound wave. WebbNumerical simulations of slow slip suggest that repeated SSEs in the transition zone between stick– slip and creep concentrate stress at the down-dip limit of the seismogenic zone, which in turn increases the probability that a future SSE will evolve into a dynamic rupture (SEGALLand BRADLEY2012).
