WebJan 11, 2024 · Check your fuel flow. Insufficient fuel flow will also give you similar headaches. Remove the fuel line from the carb. Place the fuel line into a pail. Turn on the fuel and watch the flow. My guess is it will flow nicely at first then slow to a dribble. On John Deere tractors they have a fuel filter where the fuel line connects to the carb.
