WebCSI standard formatting is used throughout the construction industry to format construction specifications in building contracts. The purpose of this format is to assist the user in locating specific types of information. Information contained in CSI’s MasterFormat™ is organized in a standardized outline form within 16 divisions. WebThe 16 Divisions of Construction is defined by CSI through their MasterFormat®. These 16 divisions are the principal divisions prior to its revision in 2004 that extends up to 48 division. The expansion was made due to the addition of effective and essential materials in that are developing continuously throughout the ages.
