The view of the mountains is absolutely beautiful from every room, restaurant, and patio areas. Restaurant food and picnic lunches are great. We had good views from our room. However, this is the end of the good news. We stayed in a tired motel style room. The main facilities in the room were a small microwave and tiny fridge. Set in the Chisos Basin, surrounded by rugged peaks, your view from some rooms and at every meal in the restaurant is spectacular. The staff is friendly for the most part.
